    • Jonathan,

Thanks for your interest in MenuMaid. We’ve just posted an updated version of the program, which now supports both 32-bit and 64-bit for Windows XP/Vista/7.

  1. Hi,
    I have some comments:
    1. Nice looking site.
    2. It would be nice if the software had a list of operating systems the software can run on.
    3. I was wondering if you could do a gadget pack? I would like to see things like a clock, with some functionality, a calendar with some functionality etc. a round of simple tools. It seems that there isn’t a wide selection and many are slowly dropping out. I know that building software is not easy (I used to test it), but gadgets, a good idea, was not really developed enough to capture people’s interest. I guess there are no “killer” apps in this area and many people moved on.

    Thanks, Mike

  2. Softpedia claims that SD Software is the author of a program called “ExplorerView”, which offers a few tweaks to Vista’s Explorer. I find no mention of this application anywhere on your site. Are you, in fact, the author of this program, or is Softpedia mistaken?

    • Yes, we did have a program called “ExplorerView.” However, it has not been placed back on the site yet. If there’s still a demand for it, we may add it back in future – although it’s not being developed or supported any more.

      • Please bring ExplorerView back. If it was a support problem, then put in BOLD letters on its download page that it’s not supported, and should only be used by someone who understands its purpose, and how to use it.

But please, please bring it back. The alternative is to go fiddle with the…

        HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags

…registry key, and that’s just too tedious. Your little app has been on every copy of Vista I’ve ever installed, configured, repaired, fiddled-with, or otherwise been in the same room with. I don’t know why you stopped putting it on your site. I’m guessing it’s because it’s not as applicable to Win7 or something; but, if so, please remember that there are MANY Vista machines still out there. My wife’s notebook, for example, was purchased from Dell just literally days before Win7 was released, and that’s not been long enough ago that said notebook should be trashed simply because Win7 is more in vogue! Moreover, for whatever reason, her Vista Dell notebook isn’t upgradeable, apparently, to Win7. Go figure.

Not only that, with my 35 years in IT, I know how to tweak any copy of Windows so that whatever everyone complains about regarding it can be fixed. Everyone hates Vista, but through registry hacks and other configurations, our copies of Vista — er… well… now just hers, since my new notebook has Win7 — were made just as nice as Win7. Win7, after all, is just Vista, but fixed. Well, I knew how to fix Vista long before Win7 came out, and anyone to whose Vista machine I’ve applied my fixes all attest that they have no need for Win7 because their copies of Vista are so well-behaved.

Well, gues what: Your ExplorerView has long been one of my Vista fixes! So I need it back! PLEASE!!!

Thanks, in advance, for your thoughtful consideration.

        • Thanks for asking about ExplorerView. We’ve now added it back to our software site. Please let me know if you have any trouble with it.

    • FontFrenzy should work on Windows 7 – however, we can’t test it on every possible configuration, so we always advise a high level of caution. Always be sure you have a system backup – preferably a disk image, although Windows System Restore can also help if you run into problems.

  3. Can you add fields for dates and costs of prescriptions, costs for services (insurance paid, out of pocket)? That would very helpful. Thanks!

  4. The program Hey Doc is not working any more after 27 entries in BP chart it will no longer take new additions to data entery sections.
the program wants to send an error message but can not cannot connect to server.

    • Greetings Michael,

We’re still working on this new website, so we’ll try to get PowerLink back up for those people who find it useful.

      Thanks!
