Hi Jacob: Technically, Ctrl+Alt+B will only turn off the screen. Any key will turn it back on.

Thank you for this! I was looking for a simple solution that would keep me from having to constantly change the setting to put my monitor to sleep while not putting my entire laptop to sleep, or have the “Put Monitor to Sleep” function pop up when I’m watching Netflix or something!!
