Hi Mark, You should definitely see something happening. What version of Windows are you using (XP/Vista/7) and what architecture (32-bit/64-bit)?

Jonathan,

Thanks for your interest in MenuMaid. We've just posted an updated version of the program, which now supports both 32-bit and 64-bit for Windows XP/Vista/7.

Hi, seems like such a useful tool. Each time I have asked it to defrenzy my font folder, I am asked to close all other open programs, of which there are none. When asked if I would like to proceed, I hit the yes button.......& nothing is happening.....
Any clues as to what I should be doing. Many Thanks....Mark

Please bring ExplorerView back. If it was a support problem, then put in BOLD letters on its download page that it's not supported, and should only be used by someone who understands its purpose, and how to use it.

But please, please bring it back. The alternative is to go fiddle with the...

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags

...registry key, and that's just too tedious. Your little app has been on every copy of Vista I've ever installed, configured, repaired, fiddled-with, or otherwise been in the same room with. I don't know why you stopped putting it on your site. I'm guessing it's because it's not as applicable to Win7 or something; but, if so, please remember that there are MANY Vista machines still out there. My wife's notebook, for example, was purchased from Dell just literally days before Win7 was released, and that's not been long enough ago that said notebook should be trashed simply because Win7 is more in vogue! Moreover, for whatever reason, her Vista Dell notebook isn't upgradeable, apparently, to Win7. Go figure.

Not only that, with my 35 years in IT, I know how to tweak any copy of Windows so that whatever everyone complains about regarding it can be fixed. Everyone hates Vista, but through registry hacks and other configurations, our copies of Vista -- er... well... now just hers, since my new notebook has Win7 -- were made just as nice as Win7. Win7, after all, is just Vista, but fixed. Well, I knew how to fix Vista long before Win7 came out, and anyone to whose Vista machine I've applied my fixes all attest that they have no need for Win7 because their copies of Vista are so well-behaved.

Well, gues what: Your ExplorerView has long been one of my Vista fixes! So I need it back! PLEASE!!!

Thanks, in advance, for your thoughtful consideration.

Maybe I missed it somewhere, but I don't see a simple list of the Bible versions (KJV, NIV, etc.), or the specific other resources currently included in the product. I realize that more is planned (based on the responses to comments on this page), and that's great; but it would help, greately, if we could at least know precisely what's included with the software at this point. Please list everything that's in it; and, while you're at it, do a feature list.

Thanks!

I'm looking for Menu Maid for Win7 x64. If not still available, can you recommend an alternative?
